Register for Junior Comic Club during the summer of 2016. Junior Comic Club is for entering 1st graders to entering 3rd graders with a high level of interest in art.

We will be exploring the world of illustrated children’s books and comics through reading, writing, and drawing. Club members will participate in collaborations, small group readings, and be given the individual attention to build reading fundamentals in a fun and unique way. There is no required level of reading or writing for this workshop, but members do need to have an interest in drawing and art.

By default, students will be registered for all six sessions: June 15, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20 and July 27. However, if you want to register a child for specific sessions only, you can do that in the checkbox menu below. All workshops start at 4 p.m. and end promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Registration for Junior Comic Club is now closed. Any form submissions below will be added to our waiting list.

DISCO requires a Student Assessment packet for each registered student. This packet will be emailed to you once you register your child for his/her first DISCO workshop this semester. The information in the packet helps us in grant reporting, which allows us to continue providing high-quality, free programming. By checking the box below, you acknowledge that this Student Assessment packet, plus a recent report card or progress report, will be due at the first workshop session your child attends this semester. Students may not attend workshops at DISCO until the Student Assessment package has been signed.
