Random Acts of Art Registration

4pm-5:30pm
Often students make the mistake of believing they are “not good at art” because their work doesn’t look like everyone else’s. During this workshop, students will learn to embrace their own eccentricity by creating pieces in which the unplanned element is celebrated. We’ll create many works of art out of drips, drops, splatters and surprises!
Suggested grade range: 2nd-6th
Workshops are free to kids in the Birmingham area, but registration is required. Students may register to drop in for one workshop or attend all sessions. The grade levels listed above are meant as a guideline for parents to determine whether or not a workshop is suitable for their children. Students need to be able to read and write independently to attend DISCO workshops. Students are not permitted to use cellphones during workshops. DISCO follows the Birmingham City School Calendar and Closings.
