As members of the All City Writers Corps, these young authors in Birmingham City Schools met weekly with Desert Island Supply Co. volunteers for curriculum-aligned creative writing workshops that connect poetry and storytelling with history, science, and the arts. Every student receives a free copy of the book. Proceeds from book sales help fund DISCO’s writing programs in Birmingham schools. Every purchase supports the next generation of Birmingham voices.
