STRANDED SUMMER: SCIENCE

June 12-16 1-3pm

Why does a cruise ship float? What makes your heart beat? How is a rainbow formed? Students will learn these answers and more by exploring the natural world through poetry, art, and daily science experiments.

Open to Incoming 3rd-6th Grades

Workshops are free to Birmingham City School and I3 Academy students.
Other students require a $100 workshop fee that must be paid before registration is confirmed. Workshop fees can be paid as a donation through our Network for Good site, found here. You will receive an email confirming your payment and registration within 24 hours.

DISCO requires a Student/Parent Waiver for each registered student. This agreement will be emailed to you after registration, and should be brought to the first DISCO workshop. Students may not attend workshops at DISCO until the Student/Parent Waiver has been signed by a parent/guardian.
